Caledonia Pride are delighted to announce their latest addition to the 2017-18 roster as Scotland’s only women’s professional franchise continue their recruitment drive for their second season in the WBBL.

With a trio of new Scottish players already joining Pride, Head Coach Bart Sengers is pleased to welcome American Guard Rosanna Reynolds to the Capital for the 2017-18 season.

Reynolds most recently played for the Detroit Titans in Division 1 of the Women’s NCAA where she finished her Titans’ career ranked first in assists (552) and third in scoring with 1745 points.

Bart Sengers is excited to welcome the new signing to Edinburgh and believes she will be a valuable addition to the team:

I am very excited that we have been able to convince Rosanna to choose Pride as her next team. She will be another player that brings the team more experience and she can help us out in many ways. She can run the point-guard for us if needed but is also comfortable playing the 2 or 3. She can really score the ball but also has a knack for finding her teammates when they are open. I believe we have found an intelligent player who compliments our other players very well.”

Reynolds will complete her move to Pride in the coming weeks subject to visa approval. Commenting on her recent signing, Rosanna said:

“I am so excited to be joining Caledonia pride. To have the opportunity to play and learn from them is going to be great. I have heard nothing but positive things about the players, coaching staff and the programme as a whole which is the most exciting part! I look forward to playing with them this season and can’t wait to get started.”

Caledonia Pride will begin their season at home on Saturday 7th October when they welcome defending Champions Nottingham Wildcats to the University of Edinburgh.
