INTRO

Caledonia Pride are on the road again this weekend,  travelling to St Albans to face Oaklands Wolves. Pride will be looking to build on last weekend’s win vs Cardiff Met Archers.

THE OPPOSITION: OAKLANDS

Wolves are looking to get back on track after a loss in their opening WBBL Championship game to Manchester Mystics.

Both Pride and Wolves have recorded victories over Cardiff Met Archers, with Oaklands picking up a 12-point (51-63) win against the welsh side in the WBBL Trophy.

Oaklands’ roster features German international Anneke Schluter, as well as two Hungarian internationals in the form of Dorka Boros and Kata Fulop.

Schluter is arguably Wolves biggest offensive threat, having averaged 14.2 points per game during 19/20.

TEAM NEWS

Jenni Torrance and Maela Faleu both continue to be sidelined through injury, whilst Eva Morrison and Jannike Marshall are both set to miss out.

COACH’S THOUGHTS

"This weekend will be another good challenge for our team. A lot of travelling once again and then having to be at our best in an away game. Last week we did that very well and we are looking forward to playing Wolves. Our games there have always been good games that could have been won by either team and I expect this to be no different this time. We expect them to be well prepared for us and just as hungry for the win. Let's go Pride!"
