Morrison moves to Pride

September 25, 2019

Caledonia Pride have today added another player from Scotland U16’s to the 19/20 roster as Eva Morrison joins the club.

Eva joins Pride from Uni Girona, having travelled to study in Spain. Previously Eva played her youth basketball in the SBC with Inverness City Lions.

During FIBA U16 Europe Division C in the Summer, Eva averaged 9 points, 5.4 rebounds and 4.8 steals per game as she helped Scotland to bronze in Moldova. Her best game came in the bronze medal game, as she picked up 14 points and 7 steals in Scotland’s 76-35 win over the hosts.

Head Coach Bart Sengers is excited to have Eva added to Pride's roster:

“Eva had a good summer with the Scotland team. She was one of the better defenders and has no fear on offense. I like how hard and fast she plays and I am excited to help her improve her game. She is very committed to being the best she can be so I expect her to take full advantage of all our program offers.”

Eva will go straight into the squad as they travel south to Essex on Friday for the start of the 19/20 WBBL campaign.
